Overall Tactics:

• Attempt at obtaining a surplus of elixir
• Always let your opponent attack first
• Place troops in back when beginning game
• Minion horde is a good defensive counter
• When deciding troops for deck, choose by assessing your highest troops first

PEKKA Counter:

• Use of minion hordes
• Flying troops in general work well
• For ground troops, barbarians work well
• Princes, Knights, Mini Pekkas and Valkyries are not a viable counter
• Defense towers do not work well as a counter
• It is important to focus on troops that work in groups like Barbarians or that fly like Baby Dragons
• Even better are minion hordes, which use both tactics of flying and numbers

Hog-Freeze Combo Counter:

• Use of buildings 3 tiles away from tower since Freeze Spell radius = 3 tiles
• Also can use archers and spear goblins or other range troops out of radius for counter (about 4.5 tiles away) or (6.3<cos(π/4) + sin(π/4))
• Never deploy anything at once when fighting a Hog Rider, only when the Hog crosses the line of gameplay
• Use a 2 elixir Goblin as another viable counter
